Hi and thank you so much for taking the time to visit with me. I value you so very much and I am grateful to know you and serve you. I was an acute care nurse for ten years in my previous life and fell in love with acts of service, empathy and kindness. I bring this forth each day with Reclamation using my biggest strengths which are kindness, compassion and caring to create a strong, resilient, intentional and compassionate brand. This brand is based on love, relationships and joy. My intention is to share this with you through our clothing and my online presence. I want you to feel how much I truly care about you every single time I go live on social media, show up in messages with you and share my appreciation for your support. You mean the world to me and I want you to know how important you are. Reclamation is a purpose driven brand and we infuse each and every piece with joy, meaning and love. The magic in these dresses can be felt every single time you hold one, wear it and view the images created with them. Each and every piece is created with heart and soul and meant to feel magical and special.

Our Mission
We create our dresses with skilled, ethical and heart driven teams in India, Vietnam and Canada. Our team in India is a wife and husband owned business and has been creating clothing for over fifteen years ~ manufacturing clothing for brands and companies such as Free People, Anthropologie, Everlane, Costco, Walmart, Target Australia and many many more. Their standards and work are second to none. They are the leader in manufacturing in India and I am so grateful to work with them. Our team in India has developed an Initiative which hires women from low income areas and helps them to gain skills and sewing expertise. Our amazing small team in Vietnam is a woman owned business who leads a team of skilled makers in a boutique manufacturer setting. Our leaders in Vietnam work ethically and diligently to provide secure, uplifting and good paying work for our makers in Vietnam.

We have a very close relationship and design and create pieces together which are size adjustable and ever changing. We love that we have the capability to create interesting, unique and small batch runs of dresses. We believe in building strong relationships with our makers and we are proud of what we have all accomplished so far. I work closely with our small team of designers here in Canada on custom gowns and product design and development. We design and create our sample pieces here and send them to our makers in India and Vietnam to produce. It is an incredibly rewarding and fun way to work! We have endless ideas and concepts to bring to market.
I began sewing about 12 years ago on my old dining table creating upcycled garments to sell at art markets and local boutiques. I would sew all night to create little baby frocks to take to the market and was so grateful to make pennies an hour. I taught myself to sew by watching YouTube videos and The art of creating magic for people to wear became my calling. With the help of some amazing people we have turned Reclamation into a world renowned brand.
